Description:  Using a drawing program, such as Google Drawings or Google Slides, students can create digital diagrams to compare and contrast themes or moral lessons from works of fiction. Students can also utilize the drawing program to create diagrams that explain the roles and functions of characters from the text.

LA TEKS:  5.3A Compare and contrast the themes or moral lessons of several works of fiction from various cultures; 5.6B  Explain the roles and functions of characters in various plots, including their relationships and conflicts.

Technology TEKS:  (1) Creativity and Innovation. (A)  Create original products using a variety of resources; (2) Communication and Collaboration. (A)  draft, edit, and publish products in different media individually and collaboratively; (B)  use font attributes, color, white space, and graphics to ensure that products are appropriate for multiple communication media, including monitor display, web, and print.
