Description: As students explore the role and responsibilities of scientists, they will identify the tools they use and create their own digital Science notebook, as many scientists in the real world use.
Science TEKS: 2.3C Identify what a scientist is and explore what different scientists do. 2.1A Identify and demonstrate safe practices as described in the Texas Safety Standards during classroom and outdoor investigations, including wearing safety goggles, washing hands, and using materials appropriately. 2.1B Describe the importance of safe practices.
Technology TEKS: 2.1A Create and execute steps to accomplish a task, 2.4D Collect, analyze, and represent data using tools such as word processing, spreadsheets, graphic organizers, charts, multimedia simulations, models, and programming languages, 2.5A Adhere to acceptable use policies reflecting appropriate behavior in a digital environment, 2.5B Comply with acceptable digital safety rules, fair use guidelines, and copyright laws.
