Topic: Forms of Energy: Thermal
Description: This can be either an engage activity to the forms of energy unit or it can be used as a station/lesson to introduce thermal energy. Students will use the Go Temps (can be checked out from library) in order to investigate if different fabrics absorb heat differently. Students will place different fabrics under a lamp and place the go temps under the fabrics. They can then record the different temperatures that they find in the fabrics.
