Description:  After analyzing how words, images, graphics and sounds work together to impact meaning in various forms of media, students will create their own documentary, commercial, newscast, website, etc.

LA TEKS:  6.13A Explain how messages are conveyed in various forms of media are presented differently (e.g., documentaries, online information, televised news, online news); 6.13B Recognize how various techniques influence viewer’s emotions (e.g., commercials, documentaries, news); 6.13C Critique persuasive techniques (e.g., testimonials, bandwagon appeal) used in media messages; and; 6.13D Analyze various digital media venues for levels of formality and informality.
