Topic:  Responding to Text Goes Digital

Description:  Students will utilize Google Docs and/or Google Classroom to respond to texts in a digital format. Literary or expository texts can be be uploaded into Google Docs and shared to the students via Google Classroom. Using various text and formatting tools, students can respond to the text and provide evidence to demonstrate their understanding. Students can also collaborate on a document as a way of peer review and feedback.

LA TEKS:  5.18C Students write responses to literary or expository texts and provide evidence from the text to demonstrate understanding.

Technology TEKS:  (2) Communication and Collaboration. (A)  draft, edit, and publish products in different media individually and collaboratively; (B)  use font attributes, color, white space, and graphics to ensure that products are appropriate for multiple communication media, including monitor display, web, and print.
